Acne, also known as acne vulgaris is an inflammatory skin disease that is caused by a bacterial infection thereof due to changes in the pilosebaceous units (skin structures consisting of a hair follicle and its associated sebaceous gland) and is a congregation of matter.
Acne is classified in different degrees related to the severity of the injuries, fundamental for treatment:Mild acne: no major injuries are inflammatory.

Acne Types
Acne vulgaris: is one that is characterized by the presence of comedones, papules, pustules, cysts and nodules on face neck upper trunk and shoulders. Premenstrual Acne: Refers to acne lesions that appear or worsen during the period prior to menstruation in women. Is due to hormonal changes which occur in this period of the menstrual cycle.
Acne neonatorum or newborn acne.
Keloidal Acne: It is characterized by the residual scars. It is more common in black and oriental breeds.
Tropical acne: Variety particularly intense acne that occurs in tropical regions with warm, humid climate. It is characterized predominantly affects back, buttocks and thighs, respecting the face.
